MHADA Lottery 2026
In case you’ve been attempting to purchase an apartment in Mumbai or Pune, you understand how difficult it is for an average person to do so. This is why the MHADA lottery for 2026 is such a big deal. It is one of the limited opportunities to win a decent flat without having to sell a kidney. The government constructs these houses and sells them at a “subsidized” price, meaning they are significantly cheaper than what a private builder would charge you.
Eligibility Criteria of MHADA 2026
It’s not just one big pool. They split it up so you’re only competing with people who earn roughly the same as you.
| If you earn… | You fall into… | The Vibe |
| Up to INR 25k / month | EWS | The most affordable; often qualifies for PMAY subsidies. |
| INR 25k to INR 50k | LIG | Aimed at small families and blue-collar workers. |
| INR 50k to INR 75k | MIG | Mid-level professionals; decent 1-2 BHK options. |
