Free Electricity in Jharkhand: In Jharkhand, the majority of electricity consumers are enrolled as beneficiaries of the Free Electricity Scheme. Previously, free electricity was provided for up to the first 125 units; this limit has since been raised to 200 units. This scheme is effective in Jharkhand as of July 2025.
